James Allen was a part of our Gomer's Pharmacy "family" for many, many years. He could always make you have a big smile. I know he is in heaven right now buying a Dr. Pepper for everybody and having a fine time visiting with his family and friends. La Porte will surely miss James Allen.

I am so sorry to hear about James Allen,he was such a very sweet person . I have such fond memories of him, he always made me laugh. He would see me at Sylvan Drugs and he would say, "Well, Hello Ms. Jackson", because he told me I looked like Kate Jackson on Charlie's Angels! I thought that was so funny.

I married Jerry Fite and thus became Sandy Fite. While in town, if James Allen saw me (usually at Sylvan Drugs) he would shout out "Hello Mrs. FIFE, how's Barney?" I thought that was so funny and I'll always remember him sitting at the soda counter waving to me as I left the store, laughing. He always put a smile on my face.
