Obituary of Gloria Marie Thomas-Flora

Gloria Marie Thomas-Flora January 31, 1930 - August 21, 2016 Gloria Marie Thomas-Flora, born January 31, 1930, made her final journey to Heaven on August 21, 2016, at the age of 86, following a 2 year battle with leukemia. Gloria was born in Somerville, TX, and moved to Houston at the age of 19 years old to pursue her education. She is survived by her husband, John Flora, her sister Lavelle (Bobbie) Heine, niece Sheila Renee Fields, and sister-in-law Josephine Claire Shellady of Enid, Oklahoma. Her 3 daughters and son-in-law’s are Linda and Ricky Hughes, Brenda and Charles Couchenour, and Pamela Milligan and Fred Gill. Gloria has 5 grandchildren - Heather, Cortney, Brian, Griffin, and Caitlin, and 3 great-grandchildren - Adam, Jeffrey, and Kendall. Gloria was a member of Parkgate Community Church in Pasadena where services will be held Monday September 19, at 11:00 A. M.
