Homer Clifton West May 18, 1936 - January 29, 2016 Homer Clifton West, 79, of Pasadena died on January 29, 2016. Born to Homer West and Effie Jones on May 19, 1936 in Albertville, Alabama. Homer attended the Alabama School for the Deaf and Georgia School for the Deaf. He was also in the Houston Association of the Deaf. Homer was affiliated with the South Main Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife Joan. His survivors are his son David West and wife Anna; Siblings Larry West and wife Joyce; Roger West and wife Joan; Dean West and wife Lynne; Donald West and wife Kathy; and Ann Mansfield and husband Keith; grandchildren Sidney West and Hunter West. Visitation will be Wednesday February 3, 2016 at 10am with Services immediately following at 11am at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home.
