"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give unto me on that day, and not to me only, but unto all those who have loved his appearing."
I couldn't think of any better words to describe Ronnie when I read his obituary in the Lufkin Daily News online today. Ronnie was a good man, good preacher, and good friend. He will be missed.
It is sad that he died so young, but the last few years of his life assure us how much better he has it now, at peace and at rest with God, prepared to receive that crown of righteousness.
