Obituary of Kay Laverne Womack Jones

Funeral Service Tuesday, Jul 03, 2018 11:00 AM Kay Laverne Womack Jones November 20, 1935 - June 28, 2018 On June 28, 2018, Kay Laverne Womack Jones (Laverne) of Houston, Texas and formerly of Columbus and La Porte, went home to be with our Lord. The viewing and funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. respectively, on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018, at La Porte Community Church in La Porte, Texas, with the Reverend Brian Christen officiating. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Cemetery Arrangements are by Paul U. Lee Funeral Home in La Porte. Laverne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her children, Ralph and wife Karen, Donna, daughter-in-law, Kathleen Jones and five grandchildren and one great grandchild, and her siblings, Betty Thompson, JoAnn and husband Dave Baker, Andy Womack, Pam Carter and special one, Ned Loomis, Karen, and Dan and wife Sherry Womack, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Laverne is preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Tillie Womack, husband, Donald L. Jones, daughter, Stacey Ella, and son, Kenneth Andrew.
