John W. Young, 80, of Pasadena passed away Monday December 3, 2007 in Pasadena. He was born August 5, 1927 in Palestine, TX to George and Annie Young. John retired from Rohm and Haas. He was also member of First Baptist Church Lomax.
He is survived by wife Sharron Young of Pasadena, children Steve Young and Rachel of Canyon Lake, Sheri Walker and Gordon of Friendswood, grandchildren Crystal Valentine, Bethany Eppinger, Madyson Walker, and great grandchildren Aiden Serrano, Evan Valentine.
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 5, 2007 at 5-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday December 6, 2007 at 10 AM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 PM at Rose Lawn Park cemetery in Palestine, TX.
