Funeral Service Tuesday, Aug 21, 2018 2:00 PM Patricia Elaine Young July 31, 1939 - August 16, 2018 Patricia Elaine Young July 31, 1939 Married her best friend John Fred Young on November 27, 1958. They raised 3 children together. Eugene J. Young, Cynthia G. Young and Kathleen Hundley. In total they have 5 grandchildren: Dustin Young, James King, Taylor Hundley, Tara Curry and Tori Hundley, and 5 great grandchildren, Isabel Currey, JJ King, Capri Curry, Abby King, Laurel Young Pat left this life on Thursday August 16, 2018 for a new adventure. Pat was a mentor, she taught the girls about being a woman, a mother and a child of god. She was strong and very stubborn, she was beautiful and saucy. She governed her son and grandsons with a gentle hand and a stern word that conveyed a love that was truly one of a kind She fought for the ones she loved and fought for what she believed in with vigor. Her love for her family and friends was unconditional. Pat was one of the founders of the Galena Park Jackateers, the first sergeant of the Whips. She was a registered X-Ray Technician. A member of the Garden Club, LaPorte Reading Club, the. A long-time member of the Houston Yacht club. Services will be on Monday 8/20/2018; 6pm @ Paul U Lee Funeral Home, LaPorte, Texas (201 S. 3rd Street) Mass will be held on Tuesday 8/21/2018; 2pm @ St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 816 Park Dr., LaPorte, Texas
