Obituary of Dr. Lucy Maria Lotito
Dr. Lucy Mary Lotito, 63, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa Lotito; her loving husband of 24 years, Mario Bruno Lamberto Codispoti; and brother Louis Frank Lotito. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Louis John Lotito; sister, Phyllis Panzarella and her husband, Paul; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Lucy was born on July 28th, 1955 in Suffern New York to John and Theresa Lotito. She has two siblings, an older sister Phyllis Panzarella, and a younger brother Louis Lotito. After her birth, our family immediately moved to Chula Vista California where she was raised until about 7 years old when they moved back to New York. Her main hobby were arts and crafts. She was a very creative person. She was always a very good-hearted fun-loving person that would always look for the best in people and try to bring that out in them. She studied in Tampico Mexico and became a medical doctor. She also taught in the New York area as a teacher for special ed visually impaired children for many years. She moved to Pearland Texas with her husband Mario where they both lived until his passing. Her last work years were at Fort Bend Independent School District teaching visually impaired children. Lucy resided with Phyllis for her remaining years. She was always someone to confide in, a person that would console you when you were down and always had the best advice to give you when you needed it. If you asked for help, she would drop everything to help you. She was the most caring loving person that somebody could ask for. She will forever be in our hearts and greatly missed.
