Obituary of Annie Lee Bishop

Annie Lee Bishop, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Orelia Simon; and loving husband, Larry Charles Bishop.  Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Trent Bishop and wife, Lyn, Chad Bishop and wife, Chris; brother, Sidney Simon and wife, Brenda; sisters, Elsie Simon, Earline Chelette and husband. Dewey, Geraldine Brewington, Nellie Sanderson, Marie Quebodeaux and husband, Barry; grandchildren, Morgan and Cody Bishop; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Annie was a loving mother, wife, friend, and neighbor. She treated everyone she met like they were special to her. Annie was a Boy Scout volunteer, both during and after her sons were out of Scouting. She was a main reason Chad and Trent both were able to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. Annie worked for Eckerd’s/CVS for over 34 years. She was an active member, baptism coordinator, and lecture at St. Helen Catholic Church for almost 40 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Funeral Mass for Annie will be held Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Houston, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating.  A visitation will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 3:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
