Obituary of Maria De Jesus Cruz Reyes

Maria De Jesus Cruz Reyes, 27, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018.  She is survived by her parents, Manuel Efrain Cruz Rocha and Evangelina Reyes Gonzalez; grandparents, Cecilio Reyes and Guadalupe Gonzalez; her husband, Jose Luis Cervantes; daughters, Guadalupe Kassandra Cervantes and Tiffany Alexa Cervantes; brothers, Juan Carlos Cruz, and Javier Cruz; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Maria was strong in her faith and devoted to her church.  Family was extremely important to her and she was a devoted and loving wife and mother to Jose and her daughters.  Maria was extremely close to her parents and took great pride in caring for them.  Throughout her challenges, she maintained a positive attitude and inspired all around her.  She was independent, hard working and determined as she always strived for the best.  Maria cherished spending time with her family and enjoyed making her special green enchiladas for everyone.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Maria will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The funeral service will begin at 5:00 pm with a visitation following the funeral until 8:00 pm with Deacon Michael Garcia officiating.  Interment will be held at a later time in Michoacán, Mexico.
