I just found this sad news about Mike today. I still can not process this pain.
When he was living in Japan we met and lived together at my parents until he returned to United States.
Mike, thank you for giving me a lot of irreplaceable memories.
Japan, Boston, NYC for weekends and Christmas Time at your parents in Houston.

I had the joy of being with the most beautiful soul I had ever met for 15 years. I know he made everyone he met a better person because of the fact that he was a beautiful person. He made me a better person and enlightened my life. I will miss him dearly but know he will be with me until I leave this life. I love you Michael and will always cherish our time together. Rest In Peace, my beautiful friend. I cherish so many memories of our time together in Boston. You had such an amazing spirit of generosity, always there for people whether they needed a great laugh or just someone to listen. I know people often say of loss that the world is a little less bright without a loved one in it, but it really does feel that way now. We always talked of getting back together for a visit and I wish more than ever that we had. My heart hurts knowing that it won’t be possible. Wow where do I start, Mike was such a wonderful person to work with here at AIM in Houston and always had a smile on his face when I would pass him in the hall or visit his office. Mike was truly a hard working and devoted co worker and has touched so many lives here from students he has helped to faculty admin and management who all could count om mike to get the job done.
Mike you will always be missed here and AIM will not be the same without your presence and hard work. We have lost a great individual and Friend but heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest In Peace my friend! My Sincere condolences to your family.
