Obituary of James David Lupo

James David Lupo, 64, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018.  He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Barbara Lupo; and sister, Beverly Lupo.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Cathy Lupo; sons, James Lupo and John Wohlferht; brothers, Danny and Johnny Lupo; sister, Kim Lupo Alianello and husband, Mike; and a host of other family and dear friends.

James came to Texas from New York with nothing but his Ford Mustang in 1979.  He immediately began working for Mac Haik Ford as a mechanic.  James would move on to start his own mechanic shop in Arcola.  He would later work for Williams Bros. Construction before venturing out and starting Lupo Construction in Manvel.  He maintained the successful business until his retirement.  James loved offshore fishing, racing fast cars, hunting and being outdoors. He was truly a car enthusiast and passionate about his boats.  James will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial gathering for James will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
