Obituary of Myrna Lee McCracken

Myrna Lee McCracken, 77, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019.  She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jimmy Adams; and sister, Linda Yarbrough.  Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen Davidson Park and life partner, Robert Rowland, and Regina Willis; brother, Larry Glenn Hamaker and wife, Louisa; grandchildren, Randi Reeves and husband, Daniel, Susan Williams and her partner, Brian Becker, Ryan Willis and Adam Lee Smith; great grandchildren, Haylee Rene, Jordyn Elizabeth, Savannah Faye, Parker Matthew; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Myrna Lee McCracken was born on August 12, 1941 to Ona “Lee” and Raymond DeMoney.

She was a longtime resident of Houston where she raised a family before relocating to Pearland to be near her mother, Lee Hamaker, in the early 80s.

She enjoyed having her family around and spending time with her four grandchildren.  Myrna enjoyed crafting, gardening and her home in Coolidge to be near her sister Linda Rae. She worked for Pearland ISD at Carleston Elementary, Texas Hobby Auto Auction and Salvation army store before retiring.  Myrna made many friends and her door was always open.

A Memorial Service for Myrna will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
