It’s been an amazing life with you in it Donney! I have reflected over the last 30+ years. You spoiling us as kids, being there for so many milestones and then you were able to offer some of that to our own kids who love and will miss you like the rest of us. I cherish your honesty, whether we wanted to hear the truth or not. I will miss the phone call of you ranting or of you just listening to me rant. You’ve been such a positive influence in our lives and it hurts to imagine going forward without you there. I know we will see you again and get to live an eternal life free of sickness and pain, so until then, I’ll cherish the memories, laugh about them and look forward to the day when we celebrate up there! To the Hrbacek Family My prayer are with you all in this hard time.
Donney was a good man, he always would go above or beyond to help other.
When he would come to the hangar on Hobby airport, when I saw him I know things would get done. He was a man of his word if he said it you can believe it.
I loved working with him The team will miss him. So Donney take your wings and fly on out of here my brother, God has some work that he need you to do in heaven.
One day I'll get to see you on the other side until then fair well my friend.

I’ve known Donney since the 80’s and had some great times in my aerobics classes. We kept in touch over the years and would celebrate together. Donney was truly one of a kind and so giving. My thought and prayers are with his family. Rest In Peace!

I offer prayers and condolences to the Donney Hrbacek family. Words can’t even describe how much Donney will be missed by me and my family. He started out as my husbands friend about 35 years ago and became one of my best friends. He was a friend for life. Donney watched all of my 3 daughters grow up. He took them to sweet dreams for a candy run pretty often. He showed up to their drill team / cheerleading and softball games, before u know it, he was helping my husband coach their teams and he loved it and all the girls loved him. Their memories about Donney r his mad money he stashed n his wallet, and when they won a game, he wld take them go cart riding, for ice cream r McDonald’s. Donney enjoyed all of it. Donney had a heart of gold. He was always fun to be around and just enjoyed hanging out and being around my family. He was a huge part of our lives. He was a tough, tough Czech man. We will miss u old man, my bfd.

I met Donney at Spectra Energy and had the honor of calling him a friend for several years. A select few from Spectra Energy shared a few lunches together in the basement of 5400 Westheimer and I was lucky enough to be included. Once you broke through with Donney and were considered a friend, you were a friend for life. Donney was a kind and decent man with a heart as big as Texas!
Rest in peace my friend and my God bless you, you will be missed.
