Obituary of Mark Calhoun Sprouse III

Mark Calhoun Sprouse III, 58, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Thelma Sprouse Jr.; sister, Martha Sprouse.  Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 28 years, Norma Sprouse; sons, Mark Calhoun Sprouse IV, John Edward Seymour, Brian Keith Seymour; daughters, Brandy Pearce and husband, Ryan, Ashley Bracewell; sister, Sue Ahmad and husband, Izhar; grandchildren, Koby, Lane and Brayden; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Mark was a hardworking and loyal employee; working in the petro-chem field for over 40 years. He was an excellent provider for his family and a dedicated and loving husband to his wife, Norma. In his free time, Mark enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He was active in little league football for many years while his boys were playing and continued even after they stopped. Affectionately known to his grandchildren as “Pa Pa’, Mark spent as much time with his family as he possibly could. He was the true definition of a family man and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

A Memorial Gathering for Mark will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
