Obituary of Larry Langham

Larry Langham, 74, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019.  He is preceded in death by his parents, J V and Dovie Langham, his loving wife, Linda Langham; and his sister Ann Butts.  Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Todd Langham and wife, Carla, Scott Langham and wife, Jeannie; brothers, Joe, Wayne, Gene and Billy Langham; grandchildren, Josh, Dawson, Keigan, Kaylee, Jenna, Kristen and Will; and a host of other family and dear friends.

 

Larry loved the outdoors and training horses.  He enjoyed western movies and watching his favorite actor, John Wayne.  He was active in the 1970s and 1980s with the La Porte Little League football program as equipment manager for the Cowboys.  Larry cherished spending time with his grandchildren.  He will forever be remembered as a big jokester and for his love of having a different saying for every situation.  Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s memory to the COPD Foundation at www.copdfoundation.org or to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.

 

Services for Larry will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571.  The visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am with Brad Dubose officiating.
