Obituary of Corrina Gail Moses

Corrina Gail Moses, 41, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Leland Moses.  Left to cherish her memory is her mother Patricia (Pat) Kohler; her sons, Daryl Putney and Eric Stanford; daughters, Amber Ford, Alexis Stanford and Nevaeh Napper; brothers, JayC Underwood (Sabrina), Michael Bott, Alan Underwood (Debbie) and Wayne Underwood (Lisa); sisters, Kristy Kaluza, Denise Underwood and Louanne Underwood; grandchild, Amara Ledet; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Corrina was born on her uncle’s birthday on May 19, 1978.  When she was born her hair was so white that most thought she was bald and feared they would have to get her a wig.  Her baby teeth were slow to come in and her sister was concerned she’d never have any teeth.  Corrina had a hard life when she got older but managed to still see the best in everyone and the beauty in everything around her.  She never met a stranger and was very generous to help others in need.  Corrina cared more for others and their feelings more than she did for her own and had the amazing ability to never hold a grudge if she had been wronged.  She was truly a hot mess, 41 going on 16, and her attitude was life’s a dance that you learn as you go.  Corrina loved unconditionally and cherished her time with her children, siblings and parents.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Corrina will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 201 South 3^rd Street, La Porte, Texas 77571.  The visitation will take place on Monday, July 29, 2019 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm in the chapel.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 am with Reverend Nathan Menefee officiating.
