Constance “Connie” Lee Davis passed from this life on September 9, 2019 after her long battle with Dementia and Mayastenia Gravis. She was born on March 17, 1935 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Dwillis and Katherine Dwillis-Smith.
Connie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, James E Davis, sr. and her children, James E. Davis, Jr. and wife, Cindy and Pamela Davis-Pugh and husband, Chris. Grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Cassandra Davis, Jeremy Davis, Scott and wife, Kimberly Davis, Jennifer and husband, Matt Hanson, Joshua and wife, Kristina Davis. Great-grandchildren, Haylee Davis, Nathan Davis, Carson Davis, Carter Davis, Blake Davis, Cole Davis, Garrett Davis, Hattie Davis, Dean Davis, Mason Hanson and Logan Hanson. Brother, Dennie and wife, Toni Dwillis and sister, Kathy and husband, Phillip Wells. She is also survived by two nieces, Dorothy Davis-Roberts and Rhonda Cardenas and seven nephews, Rip Evans, Roy Evans, Robert Davis, Ernie Davis, Jeff Dwillis, Marc Stansel and Jay Stansel. Sisters-in-law, Renee Evans and Sandra Davis and numerous lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, please reach out to anyone you may know being affected by these two illnesses and offer a helping hand in any way you can. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Windsong Nursing Facility, the doctors at Herman Memorial Hospital and the hospice staff at Altus. You all did a wonderful job and took great care of our loved one and we couldn’t have gone through this without each an every one of you.
The family will be receiving friends at the Davis home on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Everyone will be welcome.
