Obituary of Miguel A Aguilar
Miguel Angel Aguilar, 58, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 36 years, Yolanda Aguilar; children, Miguel Aguilar Jr. and wife Jessica, Elizabeth Aguilar-Moore and husband, Quinton, Pablo Aguilar, and Gabriela Aguilar; his grandchildren, Octavian Moore and Ellie Aguilar; his mother, Cecilia Aguilar; brothers, Juan Pablo Aguilar, Alejandro Aguilar; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Born in Santiago, Nuevo Leon in 1961, he moved to Houston in 1979. In 1992, he and his family moved to Pearland, Texas.
When Miguel wasn’t hard at work, riding his tractor, or being the grill master, he could be found fishing on his boat. Whenever there was an opportunity to get on the water, he took it. Miguel and Yolanda loved to travel & explore new things. A lot of times, they did this as a family. Their favorite spot to spend time as a family was Walt Disneyworld. They enjoyed traveling in their RV, hiking, and always planned their next adventure.
Miguel was a proud and successful business owner for over 27 years. His work ethic and trust instilled in him by both customers and employees is something to be admired. His hard-working hands provided a beautiful and fulfilling life for his family. Through the good and the bad, Miguel always saw the good in everything. His warm heart, passion for providing for others, and immense love saturated his family with comfort.
Miguel was kind, generous, honest, loving, and an incredible provider. He never asked anything of others. He was a great cook, storyteller, and had such a comforting presence about him. Our hearts are broken as we continue to tell his story. He will be greatly missed. His love endures forever.
Honorary pallbearers will include Miguel Aguilar Jr., Pablo Aguilar, Juan Vasquez, Quinton Moore, Lucio Vasquez Jr., Armando Vasquez, Juan Pablo Aguilar, and Alejandro Olveda.
