I worked beside Charlie at Shell when he was with Brown & Root, then when he went to work for Shell we were always in touch, I use to loan him my AC tools to work on his families car, we'd laugh a carry on about being "shadetree" mechanics when we were both "dumb" welders by profession.
I always enjoyed listening to him talk of his kids and wife and sports, he was a very devoted man to his family and the LORD, always impressed and he never changed. We were both were diagnosed with prostate cancer close to the same time, and we shared.
We lost a good man, for sure,,,,,,, but, I know Charlie and his faith in the One and Only One was real, which is so comforting for me and I know his family also.
Gonna miss you bud.
