Obituary of Bonnie Tumlin Hogan
Bonnie Tumlin Hogan, 78 passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. She born in Dodson, LA., to J. W. Tumlin and Dorothy Moore Tumlin. Preceding Bonnie in death are her parents and husband, Wayne Hogan. Left with cherished memories are her daughters, Sonya Lira and husband, Jack and Sheri Lowe and husband, David; brothers, David Tumlin and wife, Barbara and Buster Tumlin and wife, Esther; grandchildren, Joshua Lira (Cori), Jennifer Lira (Kelly Wilson), Jeanelle Jimenez (David), Kendall and Trevor Lowe (Samantha) and Jeremy Lira (Chelsea). Great grandchildren, Madison Davis, Preslie and Molli Lira, Andrew, Sophie, Karina and Adrian Jimenez, Tyler Wilson as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Bonnie was a great woman of faith and a very strong prayer warrior. She had a great team of prayer partners who loved her and who always kept her uplifted in prayer. Her love for God was exemplified by her care and concern for others. She loved her family. She always enjoyed family time and get togethers. She enjoyed cooking, cokes and Blue Bell Ice cream. She was known for her famous Pound Cake that everyone loved. Her most favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bonnie made the best sandwiches for her three always hungry grandchildren, Trevor, Kendall and Jeremy. Those sandwiches will never be able to be recreated. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and decorating with her plethora of holiday items. As this holiday season approaches, her kind and gentle spirit will be missed and so will her most famous Pound Cake. Bonnie also loved Thanksgiving and having everyone at her house to enjoy way too much food.
A celebration of life for Bonnie Tumlin Hogan will be on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Clayton Funeral Home Chapel, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. Burial will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland. Active Pallbearers will be David Lowe, Jack Lira, Trevor Lowe, Kendall Lowe, Joshua Lira and Jeremy Lira. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew and Adrian Jimenez.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM also at Clayton Funeral Home Chapel ~ Pearland.
