Obituary of Douglas Raymond Coil
There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.

Douglas Raymond Coil, 64, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. He was born June 20, 1955; the son of Ronald L and Joan E Finnell Coil. “Doug” was preceded in death by his parents. His memory will live on in the lives of those he loved and cherished his wife of 44 years, Paula Coil; daughters, Sarah Vuskov and husband, Matt and Jessica Wix and husband, J. D.; sister, Dawn Hoffman and husband, Allan; grandchildren, Kailee, Triston, Collin, Chloe, Matthew, Micah, Capri and Cait.
He was affectionately known as baby, daddy, bebette, favorite brother, friend, amazing man, one in a million, wonderful person, kind heart, great man and nicest man.
Doug graduated Oral Roberts University in 1977 and devoted over 40 years to cancer treatment and research.
Doug was a man that lived life to the fullest and had so many passions. God, family, friends, music, guitar, drums, basketball, cars, golf, and running were a few of his many passions. He was truly Dependable, Obedient, Unassuming and Gracious.
Doug will be forever loved, always close to our hearts, our memories and our thoughts. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He has made it home with his Daddy, our Heavenly Father. We will see you again and will be reunited again. Thank You Heavenly Father for the sacrifice You made for us that we can be together again.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Douglas R. Coil will be on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 1:00 PM at New Hope Church 288 Campus, 3640 CR 58, Manvel, Texas 77578 with Pastor Collin Hopkins officiating.
