Mr. Laitkep (Ernie) was like a father to me. My dad was Frank Mikeska who went to heaven 33 years ago and Ernie told me at his funeral he would be my Dad anytime I needed. Ernie always gave me a hug and kiss and I loved seeing that incredible smile of his. Ernie was such a humble man that I'm honored to have known him. My memories of him will forever bring a smile to my heart. To the family at this difficult time, just know that he is sitting next to God smiling down on you with no more pain. He would say don't cry for him he is home. You can bet that every Thursday night he is going to play poker with the K of C #4577. May your grief warm your heart in knowing how many lives he has touched and loved. Rebecca Mikeska Mould
