Christopher B. Bieber, 51 of Pearland, passed away on September 15, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore and MaryAnn Bieber, and brother, Robert Bieber. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Stacey Bieber; son, Ryan Bieber; foster sons, Kyle Lord and Cade Radcliff; sister, Barbara Bieber-Hamby; nephew, Nathan Bieber; niece, Christy Bieber; and a host of many other family and friends. Chris and Stacey met 25 plus years ago while working in a car dealership in Midland, Texas. Chris was always so nice and eventually won Stacey over. He had a strong love and dedication to his family. Chris enjoyed his job at Natijonal Oilwell Varco and had many friends through his work there. Sailing was a passion he enjoyed for most of his life. He was highly intelligent and an excellent athlete going through school. Chris was an avid reader and loved to read everything from Popular Mechanics to Sailing magazines or even “How-to” manuals. Chris had a very mechanical mind and always wanted to know how things worked. He always enjoyed the annual family vacation to New Braunfels. Chris and Ryan enjoyed spending time floating on the river or riding the rides at Schlitterbahn. His love of the water and the open seas also included going on cruises. His favorite pastime on the ship was going to the engine room to see how things worked or the bridge to see and observe the operations of the ship. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. Visitation for Chris will be on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. at 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. Funeral services will be held in the Clayton Chapel at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 18, 2010 with Pastor Glen Liston of New Hope Church officiating. The final interment will follow at Alvin Cemetery. The pallbearers for the service will be Kyle Lord, Cade Radcliff, Eric Ensley, Peter Stanton, Thomas Vu, and Frank Springett.
