I worked at Ray's BBQ Shack across the street from his business. He would come in there occasionally but I always knew when it was his order because he always ordered 4 banana puddings to go with his meal. And when his food wasn't ready he would stand at the corner of the bar and just wait, never jumped out of character or caused a fuss. He was a very nice and cool guy. Always up to date with his designer shoes and fancy cars. Rest in peace Mr. Damion

Well Damie it’s really hard to believe you’re gone and it’s so many memories of growing up I could share. Growing up you were more like my little brother than a cousin. I can still remember spending the nights at each other house as kids even more during summer time. Then as we got older sharing our dreams and a lot of deep conversations. Dad was the best dad in the world. He always provided for his family and was very caring and loving. He always said “you can do anything you put your mind to” and to never give up on anything. He gave me the nickname “Bug” because he said I looked like a glow worm when I was a baby. Dad gave the best hugs and always made us laugh. He made funny faces and would do funny dances. He would hide with masks on and sneak up behind us to see if we get scared and we would laugh with him. He was so funny!!! Dad loved to eat candy and pineapples. When he would cook food for us, he would ask “is it mighty tasty or tasty mighty?” or “good like a bacon and egg sandwich” He loved watching movies, boxing, football, and shows about cars. The last time him and I talked to each other, I came downstairs to hug him goodnight after I washed my hair. He told me he liked my hair and that I had a jerry curl like he did when he was younger when he used curl activator to have hair like Michael Jackson, his favorite singer. Dad was always there for us. I look a lot like Dad. I’m glad I got to hug him one more time and say I love you, when he was still here. He will always be in our hearts and around us. I love you Dad!!!!! Thanks for your love, friendship, hard work, life lessons. Thanks for everything!! R.I.P. GOAT :) Thanks for being in my life always!

Damion was a picture perfect god father to Kymori, Kaylei and King. Its heartbreaking to know they had such a short time with him, but they'll be filled with a lifetime of wonderful memories. I can't thank him enough for loving our children as his own. No love will ever replace the depth of his love for them.
