Obituary of Mary Anne Kerth

Mary Anne Kerth, 77, passed away Monday, March 9, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Clytie Huber. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 38 years, Jay Kerth; sons, Bill Taylor and wife, Gayle, Robby Garry and wife, Terri, Trey Kerth and wife, Kristin; daughters, Debra Adams, Cathy Visnick and husband, Clint; stepson, Jeremy Kerth and wife, Kelly; brothers, John Huber and wife, Lou, Steve Huber and wife, JoAnn; sister, Patricia Huber; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of other family and dear friends. Maryanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that cherished spending time with her family. She was strong in her faith and truly loved the Lord. Maryanne had a servant’s heart and was always willing to help others in need. She enjoyed spending time in her yard gardening. Her favorite pastime was trimming, pruning, planting and digging. Of course, then she could instruct the hired help (her husband, Jay) on how to rake, bag and clean up the mess that was left over. Maryanne loved all animals, except snakes, and had many dogs throughout her life. She never quite understood why the subdivision would not allow her to keep a miniature pony or pygmy goats in her yard. Maryanne enjoyed traveling and was known to grab the children and grandchildren for impromptu trips to San Antonio, Dallas, New Braunfels, New Orleans, or Schlitterbahn to visit all the attractions. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Services for Mary will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bryan McFarland officiating. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens in Pearland, Texas.
