Waylon Ray Prine, 30, of Deer Park passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Left with cherished memories are his parents, Wesley Prine and Wendi Rose; grandparents, William and Sylva Rose; wife, Dacey Marie Ballard; daughter, Emma Ray Prine and brother, Dillan Thomas Prine. Waylon was a very motivated individual from youth. As a teenager, he had his own landscaping company. He later went to Job Corp at San Marcos and learned machine operating. Waylon also worked under water repairing the dock for loading and unloading ships with G & G Marine. He broadened his horizon and became a pipefitter helper and then a pipefitter at Stolth Shipyard. Brown and Root and Northstar energy were other places that Waylon was employed. He also tried his hand as a lumberjack in Colorado one summer. Waylon loved camping and campfires in the woods. Fishing was a passion since age four. He loved Pa’s boat since he could remember. Waylon was a proud father of his 4 years old daughter, Emma. A special thanks goes out to Nanny and Pa for always being there for him from the day he was born until the day he passed. They loved him like he was their own child. A special thanks also to his brother for being the best brother anyone could ask for. A celebration to honor the life of Waylon Ray Prine has been set for Thursday, March 26, 2020. A Graveside service at 12:00 Noon will be held at Eaves Cemetery in Jasper County with Brother DJ Dickerson officiating.
