Obituary of Robert Lee Fisher

Robert Lee Fisher, 72, born in Sweetwater, Texas passed away Monday, April 13, 2020.He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Prudence Fisher; siblings, Earl Fisher and Troy Fisher. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Sherry Brazil Fisher; children, Marlene Fisher of Pearland, Texas, Heath Fisher and wife, Melissa of Deer Park, Texas; siblings, Veronica Thomas of Cross Roads, TX, Alice Peebles of Protem, AR, Suzy Coltson of Garland, TX; grandchildren, Evelyn Fisher, Trevor Waggoner, Lucy Knode; and a host of other family and dear friends. Robert grew up in McAllen, TX and proudly served his country in the United States Army, Jan 1968 - Dec 1969. He graduated from Texas State Technical Institute in 1972. Robert began his 27-year career with Coastal States Crude Gathering (a division of the Coastal Corp) in 1973 as an operator at its Hidalgo TX Gas Plant. He transferred to the pipeline division soon after as a gauger. Robert was promoted to the position of Houston Pipeline Supervisor in 1981 and retired in 2000. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Interment services at Houston National Cemetery will be held at a later time.
