Obituary of Vidal Alvarez, Jr

Vidal Alvarez, Jr., 75, passed away Friday, May 22, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vidal and Hipolita Alvarez; and sister, Evelia Alvarez Flores. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margartia Alvarez; daughter, Lillian McKee and husband, Martin; brothers, Arturo Alvarez and wife, Lydia, Gilbert Alvarez and wife, Benita, Javier Garcia, and David Dominguez; and a host of other family and dear friends. Vidal was a proud father and devoted husband that called La Porte home for nearly 50 years. He valiantly served his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. Vidal passed away at home surrounded by his family after courageously battling the complications of Agent Orange that he was exposed to during his service in the Army. He cherished spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
