Orville was a devoted husband, father and grandfather that was an excellent provider for his family. He had a successful 28-year career with Amoco at their Texas City refinery. Orville graduated from the school of “hard knocks” and came from a generation that believed strongly in instilling a strong work ethic. These lessons and many more were passed on to his sons. He took great pride in his three sons and celebrated their many accomplishments. Orville was especially proud that all three of them had graduated from college. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. His vegetable garden was the hit of his neighborhood as many of his neighbors got to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Orville was strong in his faith and truly loved the Lord. He was an active member for many years with the Masonic Lodge in Pearland. Orville cherished spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Graveside Service for Orville will be held Monday, June 15, 2020 at 10:30 am at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 with Dr. Keith Whitaker officiating.
