Obituary of Mona Lee Villanueva

Mona Lee Villanueva, 46 passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020. She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Garcia. Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Rosario Garcia; her loving husband of 27 years, Armando Villanueva; son, Joshua Villanueva; brother, Jose Garcia Jr and wife, Alex; sister, LuAnn Emeish and husband, Shadi; in-laws, Armando and Rosario Villanueva; stepfather, Cirilo Garcia; and a host of other family and dear friends. Mona was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother that loved her family unconditionally. Armando was truly her best friend and Joshua was their most precious gift. Mona was as disciplined as they come and followed a strict regimen that kept her organized and focused. She loved her job at Kelsey-Seybold and considered her coworkers some of her greatest friends. Mona was an animal lover and her pets were definitely part of the family. In her free time, she enjoyed reading. Mona will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation and rosary for Mona will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:30 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at Alvin Confederate Cemetery.
