Obituary of Frank Eggers

Franklin “Frank” Dale Eggers, 56, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Dorothy Eggers; and brother, Dave Eggers. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 24 years, Tracy Eggers; sons, Chad and Casey Eggers; daughter, Nicole Eggers; brother, Mitch Eggers and wife, Nita; sisters, Judy Sheppard and husband, Tom, Joan Snover and husband, Jeff, Angela Anderson and husband. James; and a host of other family and dear friends. Frank was a Miller Lite drinking, Trump voting, BBQ eating, Copenhagen man with a larger than life personality. He loved the outdoors and his favorite spot in the world was his pool in the backyard. Frank loved his pool so much he was known to even stay in the pool as he cooked. His specialty was BBQ, fish fry and definitely CRAWFISH. Frank had an amazing sense of humor and took great pride in pulling pranks on anyone he could. He loved sports of all kinds and could cheer on the Texans, Saints, Rockets, Astros, the local high school football teams and even on occasion the little league baseballers. Frank enjoyed watching television and the reality shows were his favorite. He had strong opinions about politics and would kindly invite you to leave if you were not a Trump supporter. Frank cherished spending time with his children whether he was competing against Casey for who caught the biggest fish or playing beer pong and cornhole or challenging them in Fortnite. He was an amazing storyteller and had was fond of sharing his crazy childhood stories. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Frank will be held Monday, August 31, 2020 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 pm with the funeral service following at 6:00 pm with Pastor Chris Alston officiating.
