Obituary of Dennis Lee Berry

Dennis Lee Berry, 64, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clofer and Margaret Jones; and sister, Barbara Ann Johnson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Aurora Berry; sons, Dennis L. Berry and wife, Lydia, Tim Berry and wife, Maria, Roberto Navijar; daughters, Angelique Martinez and husband, Nick, Dora Martinez; brother, Derald Swain, Joseph Berry, and Bennie Johnson; sisters, Dorothy Thomas, Teresa Jones, PJ Beezley, Anna Llewellyn; grandchildren, Marisela Martinez, Johnathan Berry and wife, Marlen, Justin Berry, Isis Martinez, Eric Beltran, Jesse Berry, Nick Martinez, Emily Berry, Joshua Berry, Myla Martinez; great grandchildren, Aria Morales and a host of other family and dear friends. Dennis was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather that cherished spending time with his family. He was strong in his faith and believed strongly in helping others in need. Dennis was a huge sci-fi fan and loved Star Wars and Star Trek. He was a big fan of CNN and would often watch it all day long. Dennis will forever be remembered as a huge jokester that always had the best “Dad jokes” to tell anyone who would listen. He loved his animals and they were always at his side. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Dennis will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 am with the funeral service following beginning at 11:00 am with Pastor DJ Dickerson officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
