Obituary of Melila Adriana Johnson

Melila (Millie) Adriana Johnson left her earthly family to join her Heavenly Family on September 25, 2020. Born in 1938 in Romania to Ovidiu and Aurelia Alexandrescu, Millie and her parents escaped to the Netherlands during World War II. When Millie was a teenager, they immigrated to the United States where they settled in California and became naturalized citizens. Millie attained an Associate Degree and worked in Texas as a medical technician prior to her retirement. She was a versatile artist, creating pastel artwork, intricately painted ceramics, and sketches, as well as quilts. She had a number of cats and dogs over the years but was especially fond of her cockatiels. Millie’s parents preceded her in death. She leaves behind two sons, Jeff Johnson (Nathalie Garcon) of Belgium and Greg Johnson (Marisol Martinez) of Houston, Texas, as well as her ex-husband Curtis Johnson of Colorado. Also surviving her are four grandchildren, Jolan Johnson of France, Juline Johnson of Belgium, and Eden and Aurora Johnson of Texas. Clayton Funeral and Cemetery Services has been entrusted with the services for Millie. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
