Ray Martinez, 33, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert and Rosalinda Martinez; wife, Kelly Gallagher; daughters, Brooke and Bella Martinez; grandparents, Ramiro and Rosalie Vasquez, brothers, Chris Martinez and wife Alma, Eric Martinez and wife Chrissy, Jason Martinez and wife Natalie, and Mark Martinez; sisters, Linda Martinez, and Victoria Smallwood and husband John; and a host of other family and friends. Ray was a free spirit that loved life. He enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting and fishing at his favorite spots. He was an avid sportsman that loved softball, golf, and cheering on his hometown Houston Astros. Ray had a heart of gold and was a wonderful provider for his family. He loved his daughters very much, and cherished spending time with his family on vacations and holidays. Ray embraced life. He was up for any and every challenge and would help anyone that was in need. Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Services for Ray will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at 10:00 am, in the Chapel at Clayton Funeral Home.
