Linda Mae Faulk, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2020. Linda was born in Louisiana on March 25, 1945 to the late William Clemson Bryce and Althia "Berniece" (Craig) Bryce. Her family moved to Texas when she was a teenager, settling in the Texas City area. After graduating, Linda attended Business school and had a long career, finally retiring from HL&P as an executive secretary. She met Renald “Ren” Faulk in 1965 and they married in 1966. They spent most of their lives in Shoreacres, Texas, and raised two daughters, Tammie and Cindy. Linda was active in her Church, always volunteering and participating in the Women's groups. She was admired for her fabulous baking and cooking skills. Her recipes were widely sought after by those fortunate enough to try her food and were treasured by her family. She was known for her generous and loving spirit and her status as an excellent role-model. She took a piece of our hearts with her and will forever be loved and missed. She is survived by her husband Ren, sister-in-law Burtine (Faulk) Higgins, daughter Tammie (Faulk) Hicks and boyfriend Darryl Smith, daughter Cindy (Faulk) Webster and husband Dale Webster, granddaughter Bailey (Webster) Sanchez and husband Jesus Sanchez, grandson Noah Webster, great-grandson Connor Sanchez, sister Betty Lou "Tar" Linscomb, half-brother William “Larry” Bryce, and multiple nieces and nephews. At the time of this announcement, no memorial service has been planned, but is possible for the future. Donations in her honor can be made to the First United Methodist Church of La Porte.
