Mary Boatman, 95, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Maria Sandoval; brothers, Bill, Jack and Blondino Sandoval; and sister, Odelia Gifford. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Wayne Boatman; son Rick Alanis; brothers, Tony Sandoval, Joe Sandoval and wife, Connie; sister, Susie Hoover; granddaughter, Brandy Gentry; great granddaughter, Presley Gentry; and a host of other family and dear friends. Mary was strong in her faith, read her bible daily, said her Rosary every night, and was a very active member at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in LaPorte. Mary was a very loving and caring person that loved to spend time with her family and only granddaughter Brandy. Mary’s hobbies included cooking, sewing, gardening, spending time with family and friends and traveling in her younger days. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held at the Clayton Chapel 201 S 3rd LaPorte TX on Tuesday October 27, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St Mary’s Catholic Church, 816 Park Dr., La Porte, Texas 77571.
