Howard Hayden Neill, 84, of League City passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Harley Neill and Blanche Dean Neill. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of almost 68 years Lanell Parker Neill; son, Howard Wesley Neill and wife, Valarie; daughter, Brenda Guy and husband, Jack; grandchildren, Emily, Erin, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Wesley, Parker Jane; great grandchildren, Mary Grace, Lucy, Trey, Keegan, Josh, J.T., Violet, Harrison, Reb and Ashley; and a host of other family and dear friends.
Howard was an excellent provider for his family and worked for many years at NASA as an engineer. Because of his love for engineering, he enjoyed tinkering with electronics and was curious to know how things worked. Howard enjoyed a good movie, especially with his grandson, Wesley. In his younger days he loved the open road and enjoyed traveling, especially in the western United States. Howard’s favorite snack was a good handful of Malted Milk Balls. Howard will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Howard’s honor to Lighthouse Baptist Church, 701 San Jacinto St., La Porte, Texas 77571.
