My family & I will miss her, she was a grandmother to my sister & I. She is our family even though we are not blood related we consider her as our abuela. My mother and all of us love her dearly. Mom, I love you and I will miss you very much! I know you are at peace because you are now walking on holy ground with our Heavenly Father. I take comfort in that you knew the Lord and I will miss praying with you and your godly advice. I have thanked you before and I’ll thank you again for all that you have done for us, your church congregation, and those you knew. I will always cherish that you finished strong! Quería llamar pero sabía que no responderías. Te extraño mucho ya en este nuevo año.
Mi corazón no está listo para dejarte ir, pero sé que tengo que hacerlo. El único consuelo que tengo es que tengo al ángel más grande del cielo cuidándonos y que ahora estás con papi y con los que se nos adelantaron. Le agradezco a Dios por haberte elegido para ser mi mamá y estoy agradecida por TODOS los buenos / malos momentos que compartimos. I have known Mela since I was 4years old (I am 54 now). She was my mom’s best friend. I would like to extend my condolences to her family who are my family too. My mom passed away 5 months ago. I know that they are together now and definitely watching over all of us. I will never forget all the wonderful memories we created over so many years.

I met Ms. Garcia in the early 1980s, vía her daughters who I met in high school. I will always remember her as a kind, friendly and distinguished lady. She was so talented and creative. She made my prom dress and altered my wedding dress. I will never forget her attention to detail and excellent work. I also appreciate her genuine care for me and my family throughout the years. All of my siblings, my mom, my husband and kids all had the honor to know her. We would like to extend our condolences to her entire family.
