Rebecca Fay Terry, 81, passed away Friday January 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orlis and Clara Clevenger Pike; brother Arch Pike; sister Nelda Sharp; son-in-law Aubrey Edwards. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Marley Terry of 50 years; sons Bryan Brown, step son Jeff Hamm; daughters Wendy Edwards, Samantha Tilley and husband Ricky, Edie Price and husband Don; step daughters Victoria Lothamer, and Kelly Zumwalt; sisters Sue Jacobs and Terry McClintock; grandchildren Jaime, B.J., Randy, Corie, Whitney, Ashley, Lacie, Zach, Dustin, Cameron, Tyler, and Jared; great grandchildren Aaron, McKenzie, Adian, Cord, Cade, Paul, Jordan, Jaxon, James, Harper, Lexi, Lincoln, Nolun and Luke; great great granddaughter Kalena and a host of other friends and family.
Rebecca had a wonderful personality and loved her family and friends dearly. She “adopted” many friends and their children into her family as well. Rebecca had a great love for all people, especially children. She taught Sunday School at the Church of Christ. Every Sunday you would find her dressed in her matching dress, hat, shoes, and purse. Rebecca had a radiant smile, a great sense of humor, and lit up any room she walked into.
Rebecca loved crafts, especially painting. She would decorate anything that stood still and was a master cake decorator. She had an infamous plastic goose which she loved to decorate in holiday outfits. She also loved to travel and cruised to any destination she could.
Rebecca worked for Grumman building circuit boards, and in Document Control in the early years of her career. Following her time with Grumman she went to work for Southwest Airlines where she stayed until retirement. Rebecca will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
