Obituary of Neera Bhutani

Dr. Neera Bhutani passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rajeshwar and Kailash Kumar. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Sudhir Bhutani; son, Sumit Bhutani and wife Yvette; Two brothers; One sister; grandchildren, Samaira and Soren Bhutani, and a host of other dear family and friends. Neera was born and raised in India, where she graduated from medical school. She completed her residency in New Haven, Connecticut, at an affiliate of Yale University. Her love of children led her into medicine with a passion for Pediatrics. Neera practiced with Clear Lake Pediatric Clinic for more than 40 years and enjoyed multiple generations of families passing through the clinic. Neera loved spending time with her family. She was blessed to have traveled the world and loved to share her wonderful memories of her travels abroad. Neera also enjoyed several hobbies, painting and playing bridge were among her favorite. She lived a very full life and could not ever imagine life without being able to entertain family, friends and visit her patients. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will be having a Memorial Service at a later date.
