Obituary of Cheri Renee Harton

Cheri Renee Harton, 60, of Pearland Texas, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Anna Mae Brooks; cousin, Mike Bunting; and beloved dogs Samson and Lexus. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Glenn Harton; son, Jeffrey Miller and wife Emmaly; grandson, Westyn Miller; parents, James and Pauline Roark; sisters, Holly Conklin, Paula Cundiff and husband Shad; nieces, Camryn Conklin, Payton Cundiff, Shay Cundiff; nephews, Clayton Conklin, Tristan Cundiff; in-laws, Kermit Sr. and Esther Staff Harton; beloved cat, Chester; and many other dear family members and friends. Cheri worked at Weatherford for 13 years and was a dedicated employee of Neway Valve International for the past 10 years. She loved her job and her coworkers from both. They were like a second family to her. Not only was Cheri a hard worker and go getter, she took pride in her work and everything else she did. She was full of life and energy. Her big and vibrant personality filled a room like no other. For those fortunate enough to know Cheri one thing we can all agree on is that she was beautiful inside and out. When she and Glenn were not at the Texans games on Sundays, as avid fans, they were outdoors going to Sargent, boating, fishing, and hunting at their deer lease. She and Glenn also enjoyed going on cruises and traveling to Las Vegas. Watching her son, Jeffrey, excel in his passion for drag racing brought her immense pride, for family is what she valued the most. She recently saw Jeffrey win the 2020 NHRA Division 4 Super Stock Championship. She was beaming with pride and joy. To Westyn, Cheri was not an ordinary grandmother, she was his “Glammy” and he was her world. She will be greatly missed by many!
