Mrs. Donna McAllister went to her eternal rest on November 5, 2020, she was 87 years of age.
Donna McAllister is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold McAllister, and her daughter, Renee’ McAllister. Numerous other loved ones both family and friends have preceded her death. Donna McAllister was born in Cleveland, Ohio in August 1933. Always wanting to live in Texas she and her husband Arnold, moved their young family to La Porte, Texas in 1956. They then grew their family to ultimately raise eight children and live their lives out to the fullest.
She is survived by seven of her eight children and their spouses; Cynthia (Cindi) McAllister of La Porte, Texas, Denise McAllister of Lone Star, Texas, Valerie Montalbo of Baytown, Texas, Arnold “Alan” McAllister of Fort Meyers, Florida, Laura Smith and her husband Ronald of Sour Lake, Texas, Ronald McAllister of La Porte, Texas and Leonel “Danny” McAllister and his wife Katie of League City, Texas. She was very proud of and found great joy in her 22 Grandchildren, 37 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mom lived her life, as we know, for others.
Anyone who claimed “Tough Love” had no idea unless they knew Mom
and felt her love – the love she held firmly and deeply in her heart.
Whether you called her Mom, Ma, Grandma, Granny, or G.G.,
the love for her and from her is everlasting.
We will miss her wit, her passion, and most of all, her unwavering love.
It falls to us to carry on her memory today, and forever.
At the request of her family, a private memorial will be held in celebration of her 87 years.
