Obituary of Sharon Yvonne Hernandez

Sharon Yvonne Hernandez was born on September 1, 1947 in Monroe, Louisiana to Herbert and Imogene Harrell. She passed from life on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Hernandez, her parents Herbert and Imogene Harrell and son Marvin Jay Bolin. Sharon is survived by her son Tommie Craig Bolin (Kelli) of Galveston, grandsons Josh Fox (Sarah) of Pearland and Justin Bolin (Heather) of Louisiana, 4 great-grandchildren: Hunter, Weston, Patrick and Hadley and many beloved family and friends. Sharon was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all who knew her. She was very strong in her faith and loved teaching and spreading the word of God to others, especially the children that attended her Back-to-Basic Christian Childcare Center she operated in Pearland until 2008. Sharon also loved to cook and make desserts and would often share her most favorite recipes with family and friends. She enjoyed taking gambling trips to Louisiana and was often very lucky. Sharon was always happiest when spending time with her grandchildren and always had a funny story to share about the things they would say or do. A Celebration of Life Service in honor of Sharon will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11am at First Presbyterian Church located at 2930 Broadway Street, Pearland, Texas 77581.
