Obituary of Ambrosia Nunez

Ambrosia Nunez, 68, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Josie Guerra; brothers, Frank Paul Guerra, Silverio Guerra; and sister, Mary Helen Guerra. Left to cherish Ambrosia’s memory are her son, Mario Lazaro Bojorquez and wife, Melissa Ruiz; daughters, Mary Louise Hahn and husband, Terry, Christina Hernandez, Sarah J. Hernandez and husband, Pedro Solis, Marina Decataeu and husband, Martin, Mary Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband, Joel, Tracie Lynn Black and husband, Trent; brother, Raynaldo Guerra; sisters, Angelita Palomino, Irene Ruiz and husband, Catarino, Doris Guerra; seventeen grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild, and a host of other dear family and friends.
Ambrosia was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a very kind and giving person who was always doing things for others. Ambrosia was an incredibly strong person mentally. She was a fighter who always had deep faith and never gave up hope. Ambrosia was an inspiration of strength and dignity. Her life was a testament to living and trusting Jesus. Ambrosia was also a very smart and talented person who was very forgiving and always saw the good in others. Ambrosia loved arts and crafts and she was a wonderful seamstress. Ambrosia made beautiful dresses, even from her hospital bed, she made her own clothes. Ambrosia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation and rosary for Ambrosia will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. The visitation will be held from 5:30 – 8:00 pm. The Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm. A funeral Mass is scheduled on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 10:00 am, at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, in Pearland, Texas, with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
