Obituary of Larry Allen Dworaczyk

Larry Allen Dworaczyk, 59, was born December 8, 1961 in Houston, Texas and passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Larry is preceded in death by his loving parents, C.A. (Kelly) and Viola Dworaczyk; brother Michael Dworaczyk. Left to cherish Larry’s memory are his loving wife, Theresa Dworaczyk; son Lucas Dworaczyk; daughter Sarah Dworaczyk; brother Rick Dworaczyk and wife, Rebecca; sisters Kathleen Villejo, Debra Dworaczyk, Melinda Lysandrou, Carol Dworaczyk; niece Michelle; nephews Blake, Brett, Paul, Austin, Zachary, David, William; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Larry loved spending time with his family. He especially looked forward to the holidays when all the family would get together, and he would always make his famous cherry pie. Larry also absolutely loved the annual family reunion each year in Galveston, Texas. He was a great cook and he enjoyed cooking especially bar-b-queuing. Larry enjoyed spending time outdoors and he always loved going camping and boating. He also enjoyed watching sports and cheering on his favorite teams. Football, basketball and baseball, professional or college ball, he enjoyed them all. Larry was also a big tease, prankster and agitator who would share a big grin on his face letting others know that he knew as well. At family get togethers if you heard someone yell out “Larry” and then hear his laugh, you knew he was up to something. His greatest joy was his children, Luke and Sarah. Larry found so much joy in being their father, taking them camping, teaching them how to kayak, coaching Luke in baseball and lacrosse, Sarah in soccer and basketball, as well as many other things. Larry also loved photography, and he loved taking pictures of his family. The family is incredibly grateful that they have hundreds of pictures that Larry took. Captured memories that they will cherish for many, many years to come. Larry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
