Maxine Carol Stark passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father Max Overbeck; brother Don Overbeck; and sister Janet Courtney. Maxine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked for Saudi Aramco Oil Company for over 30 years as their event coordinator. Maxine was a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and she served on the Judging Contest Committee. She loved to travel, play blackjack, cook, shop and to socialize with friends and family. Maxine’s favorite holidays were Halloween and Christmas. She enjoyed sports and she was a diehard Texans and Aggie fan. Maxine loved spending time with her granddaughters, and she was extremely proud that they affectionately called her their “MiMi”. Maxine will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In Lieu of flowers, Maxine’s family is requesting that donations be made in her memory to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
