Violeta Villarreal, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Maria Vazquez; brothers Jose Maria Vasquez, Oziel Vazquez; and grandson Nikolas Solis. Left to cherish Violeta’s memory are her loving husband, of 53 years, Fernando Villarreal; sons Miguel Villarreal, Fernando Villarreal; daughters Perla Sanchez and husband, John, Esmeralda Solis and husband, Michael; brothers Heriberto Vazquez, Hugo Vazquez; sisters Alvessa Vazquez, Amalia Vazquez, Eliamar Sanchez, Leticia Vazquez de Hinojosa, Deyla Estrella Vazquez; granddaughter Alanna Solis, and a host of many other family and friends. Violeta was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that cherished her family. They were her life. Violeta loved making crafts and sewing. Her handmade Christmas stockings and photo collages were treasures. She was an exceptionally good cook and was famous for her tacos and Caldo de Res. Violeta also enjoyed going out to eat and trying different restaurants. She loved watching her telenovelas and rooting on her Astros. Although she did not get to travel as much as she would have liked, when she did, she always had a wonderful time. “Tita” as she was affectionately known to her grandkids, will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
