Obituary of Martha Jane Fowler

Martha Jane Fowler, 98, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyndon, and Mary Hearne; loving husband, of 71 years, Charles Franklin Fowler Jr. Left to cherish Martha’s memory are her son Lyn Fowler; sister Mary Alice King; grandchildren Brian Fowler, Mackenzie Fowler Balderaz, Samuel Fowler; and a host of other dear family and friends. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making and repairing clothes. Martha was an avid reader and loved reading every new edition of the Pleasanton Express from cover to cover. She never met an animal she did not like and kept a special place in her heart for her Samoyed Sasha, and the family Border collie Rocket. Martha loved to travel, and especially enjoyed trips to her summer home in Alpine, Arizona. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
