Obituary of Barbara Jo Koehn
Please share a memory of Barbara to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Barbara Jo Koehn passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Kim Allan Koehn; parents Edward and Pauline Bliss; brother Darrell Edward Bliss; and sister Phyllis Bliss. Left to cherish Barbara’s memory are her loving husband Leon Eddie Koehn; daughters Cheryl Yvonne Ebeling and husband Norman; and Charlene Annette Agnew and husband Howard; son Daryl Leon Koehn and wife Kimberly; grandchildren Chris, Kyle, Michael, Jacob, Nathan, Kayleigh, Miranda, Joshua; ten great grandchildren and one more on the way. Not to forget a host of extended family and lifelong friends here in Pearland. The family would also like to thank Barbara’s caregivers, Dawn Martin and Angela Costley, who will be forever part of the family.
Barbara was blessed to have been married to the love of her life, Leon, for 65 wonderful years. She was a sharp businesswoman who helped run multiple locations of Circle K Fine Meats and Steakhouse for 35 years, but interestingly, never drew a paycheck of her own. She was very soft spoken, but so influential. Barbara had a servant’s heart and loved doing things for others. She and Leon were strong in their faith and active members of Berean Christian Church for 50+ years. Barbara loved her family dearly and she was affectionately known as “Maw Maw” by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
